A Consumer’s Tip about
What to Look for in a Feng Shui Expert
Feng Shui is a holistic approach to healthy living. Recently it
has become a fashionable trend and as more people around the world
seek out its benefits, more and more people pass themselves as experts.
To take (or to teach) a weekend long seminar in the United States,
Europe or Asia, to speak Mandarin and to be Asian are not necessarily
qualifying credits.
Three basic qualifying criteria for a good Feng Shui Expert
Consultant are:
- Years of training with a knowledgeable and well-respected
Hong Kong or Taiwanese master in the theories and principles of
Feng Shui.
- Someone who has worked on the application of Feng Shui
principles and theories and who has therefore acquired years of
experience in a variety of circumstances.
- A solid background in architecture, a Bachelors or Masters
degree, is very important when working with new construction,
remodeling, additions and big commercial and residential projects.
Although the Feng Shui consultant may only provide conceptual
guidelines, an architectural background will enable him/her to
understand both the concerns and the pressures of modern design
and building and therefore optimize the results.
