Selecting a Property:
Simona Mainini's Consumers Tips

If you live in a property and don't feel happy there, should you have a Traditional Feng Shui expert evaluate the property so that they can advise you on to improve it? Here are a few questions I recommend you ask yourself, they may facilitate your decision making process:

How long have we lived here?
If your situation at work, your relationship etc. has gone from bad to worse since you moved in, chances are your place needs some Feng Shui upgrading. In this case, the Feng Shui that needs to be applied may be very simple, it could involve moving a few pieces of furniture or trimming the overgrown tree, but it could also be a little more complicated, it could involve the modification and or the correction of Qi flow in our property.

What happened to the previous owner?
Before moving into a new place find out about the previous owner. Did they suffer from severe health problems, divorce, financial difficulties or tragic death? If this is the case you may want to think twice before moving in. Feng Shui can help to clarify your concerns about moving in to a new house or buying a new property, a Feng Shui expert can advise you with respect to the most appropriate property selection and or upgrading; it will be customized for you and whomever else you may be moving in with.

How did we decide on this property?
Finding a location is often a consequence of our present condition and personal luck. If, for reasons having to do with time or money constraints, you settled down too soon in a location that does not really suit you, and you are not happy, you might want to review the above questions and consult with a Feng Shui expert.

Did we get a 'deal'?
A common practice is to offer a 'great deal' on properties known as 'hard sales.' This name has been given because, no matter how appealing the offer, nobody wants to move in, and they cannot really say why. In order to make sure that a 'deal' really is a good deal, we may want to consider the benefits of an expert Feng Shui Architectural evaluation.

Why does the job site for our new house keep suffering from accidents and delays?
'As the saying goes, ‘there is a right time for everything,' but sometimes we pick the wrong time to start construction and the results right from the beginning are accidents, delays and headaches. Choosing the right time for construction, along with the right design, should be one of the main concerns in the development of a new project.

Did we visit the place more than once at different times of the day?
The property may be nice on the weekend, but very noisy in the morning or at night. If the house is located near a fire station, police station or hospital, you can be sure to hear sirens all the time. You should also avoid building close to cemeteries and hospitals that create an overall Yin Qi; a depressed and unhappy energy inauspicious for human life.
