Combining Italian design and ancient Asian wisdom, Dr. Simona F. Mainini has found the perfect balance for living in harmony with the forces of nature. Her unique approach to uniting good design, functionality, and the natural environment is derived from a strong background in the arts and design.

She is a licensed architect in Italy and holds a Doctor in Architecture degree from the Polytechnic of Milan, Italy and a diploma from the School of Arts of Reggio Emilia, Italy. She studied Traditional Feng Shui with Master ‘Sifu’ Lawrence Sang. She is currently a senior instructor for the American Feng Shui Institute and she also teaches ‘Feng Shui for Designers and Architects’ for the Department of Architecture and Interior Design of UCLA Extension as well as other institutions.

Dr. Mainini’s family business, Mainini Arreda e Illumina, specializes in luxury interior design and Italian furnishings and is the only such firm in Italy offering full-service Traditional Feng Shui consultation. In October of 1999, she presented the full-scale Italian Feng Shui House at the Exhibition Center in Reggio Emilia, Italy, launching Feng Shui on the Italian market.

In 1997, Dr. Mainini established Feng Shui for Architecture, an international consulting firm specializing in Feng Shui applications that promotes the integration of the ancient green science with current design trends in modern and traditional architecture. Her knowledge, skills and experience have contributed to helping countless celebrities, business executives, and homeowners improve their environments through the use of Traditional Feng Shui principles.

Among her most recent projects were the Golden Monkey exhibit at the L.A. Zoo, the Promenade Walk in downtown Long Beach, CA., the Commerce Casino, and the offices of Cecchi-Gori Movie Productions. You could be next!

Dr. Simona Mainini is a member of the American Feng Shui Society and an associate member of the American Institute of Architects. She’s the author of Feng Shui for Architecture and is currently working on a new book.
