for the Feng Shui investments made (scroll down this page to see list of some of our most prominent projects).
I was reading about the Pennsylvania case of a woman who found out after purchasing a rather expensive property that the seller purposely concealed the fact that the house was the setting of a murder-suicide. In spite of her determination to take the case all the way to the Supreme Court, her reasons have not been “sufficient enough” to obtain a court judgment in her favor and void the bill of purchase.
So if you have found yourself stuck with an expensive property (or any property) after discovering some tragic past about it, or perhaps you bought it on purpose because it was so inexpensive, what do you do? Well, you could… Read more about how to correct the Feng Shui of Murder Houses.
Feng Shui For Investment Property
I recently did a consultation for a large apartment complex in Alhambra. In this particular case my “client” was the whole investment company who had just bought the complex. Concerned about the predominant presence of a strong Asian community located there, my investment company client wanted to ensure that all “cultural requirements” were addressed during the renovation.
So, you might ask, is the Feng Shui of a property someone is buying for investment purposes only (a.k.a. business gain) important? After all, the investor does not plan to live there, right?

Feng Shui Consultation and Yearly Update
Also known as a Yearly Update, this shorter yearly follow-up consultation is designed to address the interaction of an existing structure with the New Year’s “entering” Qi (Life Force Energy). It is different from a Comprehensive Consultation and Yearly Updates should be done only as follow-ups.
Each building is like a person whose physical constitution can be strong (and healthy) or weak (and unhealthy). During a Comprehensive Consultation….read more about Feng Shui Consultation and yearly Updates

Feng Shui for Apartments vs. Houses
As you read this, I am currently reviewing an 85-unit apartment building to be built on the Hudson River facing Manhattan. To maximize the real estate potential and the view, the building’s shape is extremely irregular and confusing, causing all sorts of weird shapes in the apartments.
Apartment (or condo) living poses a question for all Feng Shui students: do I read the main complex, or do I read the individual unit?
I was in Diamond Bar, California last week for an emergency call by a new client.
The client is a wholesale technology company that has been in business for 7 years and has always experienced a fast-growing pace. The owners requested my professional opinion because they just expanded their facility. The problem surged right after completing the remodeling 2 months prior, when their business suddenly started registering a loss. He suspected some “faux pas” was done in the course of the renovation. Upon listening to the facts, I also shared his concerns. Here is what I found…Read more about A Feng Shui Renovation Gone Wrong
Feng Shui Dream House
A few days ago I did a walkthrough for a new property under construction in the South Orange County/North San Diego area.
What was so special about it? It came after a long search, but it was all worth it because it was my client’s Feng Shui dream house.

Another Feng Shui Dream House... in the Heart of Texas!
When I first visited Melody and David two years ago, they were the enthusiastic new owners of a not-too-old and rather comfortable country property that they were ready to turn into a goat dairy farm. After brainstorming with Feng Shui and design for two intensive days with them, I came back to L.A. and patiently waited for an up-date on the status of the remodel. The plan was to do a cosmetic renovation so they could move in “pronto.” Then life took another turn…

Feng Shui Renovations 101
Last week I consulted on a house built in 1943 in San Diego whose energy, albeit a bit old, was rather nice and supportive to the owners. They also shared how they intended to upgrade the place, which was indeed needed because it didn’t quite fit a modern 2011 lifestyle. So, they ask for my professional opinion as Feng Shui consultant.
After running an analysis we figured out that in changing the energy from 1943 to 2011 it would turn the Feng Shui of the house from one of being "good for health, relationships, and success," to one of being "bad for health, relationships, and success." So what should the owner do? Read on.
Dubai & Feng Shui
I have just returned from Dubai and of course I couldn’t just pass on the opportunity to visit the most popular city in the Middle East and conduct a Feng Shui case study on it, now could I?
Most of you have probably heard about the stunning Palm Tree Islands and The World Islands that are all visible from outer space, or perhaps Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world (designed by the Chicago-based architectural firm Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill). Yes, you can see it in the picture, and no, is not that the adjacent buildings are small, it is the Burj that is really, really tall.
Feng Shui Forecast for 2013, Year of the Water Snake
One way or another, we have managed to survive 2012. So now what?
This year is the year of the Water Snake (from February 10).
Many fantasize that the Snake is not much different than the Dragon; hence the energy of this year will not be much different than last year. But this is not true at all.. read more about 2013 Yearly Forecast for the Year of the Snake
Feng Shui Houses that are Good for You
When I talk about "building-person compatibility" I refer specifically to how the energy of a building supports-- or antagonizes-- the person living or working in it.
Yes, the energy of a building can in fact support you or sabotage your efforts in creating your goals.
For example, I was consulting for a house in Pacific Palisades, CA yesterday and the woman living in it was a Wood person while the building itself was a Metal building. This is considered a very undesirable situation and it needed to be corrected.
How do you know if a building is good for you or not? Read more on Feng Shui Houses That Are Good For You.
Can You Feng Shui a Wine?
A few days ago I was visiting Napa Valley (for those of you not familiar with California, it is North of San Francisco and in the West area of the U.S.) to see new clients and was given the rare opportunity to do a reading on a very well known winery.
As you may know, in the past 30 years the region has grown to now encompass about 500 vineyards, both big and small. So, what is that makes a wine special from Feng Shui standpoint?

What can Feng Shui do for you?
I was out property hunting in Costa Mesa, CA last week with a client (let’s call
him “Max”) who had previously experienced living in a house for five years that we
defined as “bad for people (meaning health and relationship),” and also “bad for money
(meaning success and financial prosperity).”
He and his wife are ready to move out from that house that caused them so many
problems and buy a new one.
As Max, his wife, and I were walking through one of the new properties they
are now considering he also disclosed to the real estate agent that I was the Feng
Shui Master Consultant advising him on his purchase. And guess what happened? Click here to read more about what can Feng Shui do for you?
How to Select a Feng Shui Consultant
I had just been hired to review the plans for a new, sizable property in the West Los Angeles area. The design has been done by one of the most eminent authority in the filed of architecture. How can one ever feel comfortable having to make Feng Shui recommendation for a work of art?
The other challenge I am facing is that I am not the first or second Feng Shui opinion requested, but rather the third or forth. My “colleagues”, have recommended corrections that are simply “inappropriate” for an architectural project, whether designed by an authority in the filed or not. Foreclosures: Bad Feng Shui?
Considering the current real estate situation where more and more houses are being placed on the market seemingly by the minute, to have good Feng Shui or bad Feng Shui can make a significant difference in how fast or slow the process goes. I have been often asked to consult on behalf of concern buyers on how good it is for them to buy a house that has seen foreclosures issues. Treacherous and touchy territories, but I’ll attempt to answer. Read more about Foreclosures: Bad Feng Shui?
Feng Shui in Business
I have often talked about the importance of been prepared– meaning being "business prepared–" when beginning a new business endeavor. In that sense, utilizing Feng Shui's principles in an office or a business location is part of being prepared to eliminate blockages in the energy that could prevent you and your business from achieving the goals you’re setting out to accomplish. Some of you may still find your business has been a place of challenges both on a personal and professional level. Read more about Feng Shui in Business.

The theories are presented in a straight-forward manner, fully developed with thorough explanations, and visually clarified with pictures, diagrams and charts, then translated into specific practical instruction. Welcome to Feng Shui Consulting Services For Architecture, Design and Environment...
celebrating helping people like you create great lives with Feng Shui!
Years ago while pursuing my degree in architecture and interior design I realized that our buildings needed more than structure and styles. They needed something that made them be good for us. Around that same time I was introduced to the concept of quantum physics and how everything that exist in the Universe is energy. Since no architectural or design school teaches how to improve the energy in a building, I figured the answer may be hidden in the ancient metaphysical disciplines.
So, at the ripe old age of twenty-two, I began investigating the different ritual and spiritual architectural design systems practiced around the world and was soon recognized by several Masters as having an instinctive depth of understanding of ancient principals that would set me apart from other students. That's when Feng Shui found me and I became enthralled in the dynamics of utilizing visible and invisible energies together to create harmonious surroundings. Little did I know that in my enthusiasm, as Feng Shui consultant, I would end up learning the most sophisticated and advanced techniques of this craft usually only reserved for the Grand Masters—so much so that my Hong Kong Grand Master teacher begin referred to me as his Goddaughter.
After graduating, I created Feng Shui For Architecture in 1997, a full scale""boutique" Feng Shui consulting firm, to pioneer the applications of Scientific (Traditional) Feng Shui to architectural projects. Since then I have consulted internationally on all kinds of projects. Today, my firm provides Feng Shui consultations for existing residential (home), commercial (office, retail, mix use, etc.), corporate and public buildings, as well as for those under design, new construction and/or renovation. My background as a designer allows me to understand the design process, as well as pressures and concerns that owners and architects must face when developing a new project and consequently tailor my Feng Shui consultation to their needs.
While the concept of Feng Shui has become very popular in the past few years, it has often been addressed by the unqualified practitioners as simplified design psychology, philosophy, or superstition based on using Chinese folklore and religious symbolism hence giving rise to all sorts of myths regarding its integration with architecture.
Our specialty, Scientific Feng Shui (also known as Classic or Traditional Feng Shui), is instead a long time tested natural green science designed to create holistic buildings, a healthier environment, and the advancement of our well-being. It can be integrated with architectural design, interior design, and landscape design to harmonize energy both inside buildings and in their surrounding properties.
Since our inception we have helped hundreds of well-known international corporations, casinos, animal habitats, homeowners, developers, diplomats, productions companies, spiritual leaders and celebrities remove their “big” Feng Shui problems and bring in well-being, financial prosperity and success.
Just imagine what a world full of thriving Feng Shui buildings can do for you and humanity…
